Clean Room Verified - What is it?

The "Clean Room Verified" 'badge', or 'tag', that you see across Aussie Vape Stores on Eliquid Brand listings, is my way of giving you the consumer, more information with which to make a more informed decision when choosing eliquids to vape.

At present there is zero accountability, or regulations in the Australian Eliquid industry, if you wanted to launch an Eliquid business tomorrow, you could very well do so whilst mixing from your coffee table in less than sanitary conditions with no repurcussions.

This is obviously very concerning, considering this product is inhaled into the lungs.

In an attempt to at the very least, inform vapers, which of the available eliquids available on the market, are mixed and bottled in an appropriate environment, I've taken it upon myself to introduce this "Clean Room Verified" badge/tag to directory listings on this website.

I am not a certified inspector, nor do I conduct physical site visits at all.

In order to get this badge on a listing, vendors must provide definitive proof to me that their mixing/bottling environments are in fact to what I would consider an acceptable standard.

I will ask for photos, videos, of the environments, and equipment, used, and during it's use. Applicants will also be put through an informal interview by me, to gain a better idea of how they operate. This will consist of various discussions, involving their general processes, cleaning procedures, protective clothing worn, as well as many other checkpoints that help paint a better picture of their businesses.

Only then, if I am satisfied that the vendor is doing the right thing, and is running a fairly tight operation, will they be given the "Clean Room Verified" badge/tag on their listing.

I'd like to again iterate, that I am in no way associated with any governing body, nor am I, a qualified inspector. There are no spot visits, or physical inspections.

You can however, be certain, that at least one person has gone out of their way to engage these vendors, and provide you a list of companies that "I believe" to be mixing/bottling their products in an environment that minimises the introduction of contaminants.

If you are a vendor, and would like to get this badge/tag placed on your listing, please visit the following page, to read more about the process, and what will be required of you and your business.
